Nice little radio and some info for Dar on the dock
I have several of these radios, I really like them. The color change feature is really nice to blend with your natural dash light colors. The ability to add the Best of XM package is cool too. You won't get the MLB games, but you'll get the MLB talk and more sports info with this pack. Along with several other channels. For Dar - I saw your comment about the Sirius Sportster 5 (SP5)... "I enjoy listening to satellite radio so I decided to purchase one for my car. And I love this radio. The only thing is that it doesn't fit the cradle very well and so the service comes and goes - according to how bumpy the road is. THAT'S aggravating!!!" .... I think the problem is you're using a Sportster 4 (SP4) dock and there's supposed to be a piece in between the radio and the dock. Also the SP5 dock is a little different design. It's designed to be flat against the front of the dock where it joins the radio. The SP4 dock is flat at the bottom, then it is recessed in for the unique style of the SP4 radio. You can use the SP4 dock for the SP5 radio, but again it needs that piece in between to make it flat and work more correctly. I'm not sure if you knew that or not. I only recently learned this myself.

Nice radar dector, I'm pleased with it so far
I've only had this thing about a month and luckily haven't ran through any speed traps yet. But it did alert me to a local red light camera (already knew it was there, but it was nice to know that function really does work). I haven't tried updating it yet, but that's in my "to do" stuff. The default volume is loud enough to alert you to anything it picks up. I previously mentioned I haven't hit any speed traps (radar) yet, however I had just parked my car facing the other direction and a local police car from the back side direction had set it off about a half mile away! So it's definitely sensitive (which is good, I keep mine in highway mode in the city), I thought that was cool. This seems like a really handy gadget and based off my limited use with it, I would recommend it.
