Scotland is not for the squeamish
A great little book about one man's exploits in Scotland. Being from Scotland myself, I loved reading about people and places I knew. Watkins has included anecdotes that cover a wide variety of topics, from paranormal experiences, to gold mining, to the founding of one of Scotland's premiere musical acts. Watkin's writing is down to earth, and witty. His experiences incite the reader to want to go out and share these experiences.
I ended up buying several copies, to give to friends who also enjoy Scottish culture. Anyone who enjoys this book, should also check out Tom Morton's "Spirit of Adventure".

For all dog lovers.
I buy this calendar every year for my wife. We both love the irreverent humor, candid pictures, and enjoy it all year long. Being dog lovers, we can't help but identify with the daily pictures and accompanying "quotes". Highly recommended for all dog lovers.
