Tough, soft, best protection for years to come (from experience)
This is a genuine leather product, as described, top quality. I have had the same kind in brown color for three years and I was really happy with it as it protected my phone from near-dent/crack experience so many times...my phone still looks as new thanks to the Apple case. The old case grew old in the end and I am so happy I still could find an equal replacement. Thanks!

You will love it!
I am really satisfied with this lens. I usually prefer prime lens, but there are situations when a reasonable zoom is more then welcome. I use this lens for photo reportage, such as various events going on in my area or for wedding photography. And because it is so conviniently compact (certainly more compact then two or three primes in a bag) I like to have it on me whenever I go out with my camera for just-in-case times.
There is indeed some barrel and pin cushion distortion at either end of the zoom and vignette too, but since these sweet little imperfection are very subtle, it is fine with me. On most photos you wouldn't notice, and for some of us this is what makes a photo look like a photo, right? But it removes easily in any decent photo editor if you wish to.
Some people complained in their reviews about focus speed - they say that this tamron 'hunts' a lot. Well, I can't agree. I had a tamron lens once (it was for Canon and for a samller chip at that), which 'hunted' so often it made me sometimes really desperate. But I have not experienced any hunting with this lens yet. And I already took lots of photos in a very low light indeed. I simply love this lens!
