Xperia XA is a nice phone with some downsides

- very thin profile, thinner than most phones in this class or higher
- edge to edge glass on screen
- looks more expensive than it actually costs, gray looks expensive
- Sony is quality Japanese brand not some no name and not phone everyone else has
- people will check out your phone since it is Sony brand
- the camera optics are pretty good quality both video and photos
Con's
- APN settings sometimes vanish and need to be input again for no apparent reason
- speaker is not very loud
- battery may not last a full day in normal use and needs to be recharged
- the backside is plastic and vulnerable to scratching so you need a case
- without the case the phone itself is slippery and can be dropped
- unlike my M4 Aqua it is not water resistant but if you are careful not a deal breaker
