If you can afford it, you won't go wrong. Fantastic kit!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is by far the best computer I've ever owned. I've had DOS and Windows machines for many years and finally got sick and tired of continual updates and patches, so a couple of years ago I bought a Mac Mini.
That ushered in a whole new era of trouble free computing. It was compact and did all I needed it to do. The only thing that let it down a little was the PC monitor I had it hooked up to.
When I saw this iMac with the fantastic 27" display it was like another quantum leap forward. The picture quality is simply stunning. The fast i5 processor is way faster than me. Nothing I throw at it causes any delay whatsoever. Having everything integrated except the optical drive makes this machine a terrific space saver, counterintuitively for such a big screen! I added an external superdrive for those odd occasions when I need to burn a disk.
The in built speakers do a fair job and the customary Apple quality makes this computer a joy to own. The supplied wireless keyboard and magic mouse work well and I added the Magic Touchpad for further convenience.
If you have other Apple kit (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV etc) this will integrate to form a seamless system that is hard (or impossible) to emulate with other operating systems and equipment despite the best efforts of the competition.
The only niggle is the same as with all Apple equipment..the premium price tag. But you have to think that you really do get premium kit and it is actually worth the extra.

Truly awesome. Hardly use my DSLR anymore. Absolute steal at the price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this camera for a special day out where it wasn't practical to lugg my Nikon DSLR and all its lenses around. For the money this camera would be hard if not impossible to beat. The picture quality almost matches my SLR and you wouldn't tell the differences unless you enlarged the images to massive proportions.
The AV lens is simply stunning. It can zoom from a very acceptable wide angle to long telephoto AND all focal lengths can easily be hand held. The panorama feature works well to produce really impressive shots.
Ok the build quality isn't quite up to professional standards but at this price you wouldn't expect that.
It's very compact and light making it easy to carry. The GPS feature makes this my new favourite holiday camera.

Great traditional tape measure
I have been using these tape measures for decades and prefer the way they handle over the newer FatMax designs. I'm so glad we can still get these older models.
