"scratchy, not owchy"
In the words of my young grand-daughter when she first had her hair brushed with a Mason Pearson hair brush, "It's scratchy , but not owchy", in other words, it didn't hurt when her long hair was brushed, making it ideal as a children's brush.
Good quality, long lasting & does a perfect job on young heads or old ones
