Anyone who doesn't own a Surface, has simply never tried one.
The equation for me was simple: having had a Surface tablet before, I knew that my next upgrade had to be to another Surface. The simple question was whether I needed a Pro or if an ARM-based device would still work for me. I use my Surface heavily for work (large amounts of internet usage, word processing and email traffic). I was also interested in something that could handle basic video and audio editing. The problem with my previous Surface was that it began to slow over time, as all PCs do. The reviews for the Surface 2 explained the processor difference would immediately eliminate that issue and I'm happy to report it did. There's no lag on app-launches. Coming equipped with the Office Suite is what makes the ARM-versions of the Surface tablets stand out from its rivals. Make no mistake: I use this HEAVILY for work and it's the only tablet I've been able to fully rely on to do so. Previous tablets - and I've had everything from iPads to Android - didn't allow that trust; I would always have to take a laptop plus tablet with me just in case. I touch-typed within a minute of first using the Type Cover, which I highly recommend for anyone needing to do anything beyond basic web searching and social media usage. I'm not a design guru and don't really care to know HOW they did it, but the designers managed to make a smaller keyboard as easy to use as a full-size keyboard. The OS, well, you can find plenty about that elsewhere, but it's clean and simple, yet dynamic and personable. My firm belief is that anyone looking for a tablet for use for business and who doesn't have a Surface, simply hasn't tried it. The second you try a Surface, you'll never use anything else.
