Excellent decision
After i put a 3.5" short-arm lift kit and 35" tires on my 2007 Rubicon, I discovered I needed to replace the stock side step/rock bars with something that facilitated people getting into the Jeep now that it was almost 7" taller than before. All the side steps/bars I looked at were either very expensive, hung down too low for good ground clearance, or wouldn't have made any difference in helping with the entry issues. Stumbled across the Rampage Slimline bars and decided to give them a try - and I'm glad I did. It took longer to get the stock bars off than it did to get the new one's on, lol. They were easy to mount - although having a muscular husband to get the body bolts loose was a HUGE help - and they look great! Attached to the frame, so they are rock solid. Work well, too, they don't hang down too far, but just enough that they help entry. I've got Wild Boar grab handles up front and strap handles on the backseat overhead bolts, so it's all good.
