The tap was junk
The tap had chips wear it starts cutting thread, couldn’t use the tap, only used the Helicoil insert & Helicoil setting tool.

Snow blower lift assist spring
According to John Deere parts list this was supposed to be the part I needed.
It would have worked great if it was for my year tractor. This part needed me to manufacture parts that I had no idea what the parts even looked like just to install it. And then wear does this get installed.
After it was installed thought it wasn’t worth the time and money to install it just a little easier to lift the snow blower.
