Don't Overpay for New Product Only to See Your Money Dissapppear !
Although Topps cards quality is usually pretty good, the problem is the Value over time to true Collectors and hobbyists. There is No Value in buying Topps products at such high retail prices, or even 2x to 3x retail on largely Overproduced print of some 75 Different MLBaseball products per year now, which is simply staggering. Topps print has had to hit Trillions in print by now, at least many billions of cards, which cannot possibly all be bought and sold, so where is this so-called "market." ? It doesn't really exist, and its all outright "made up pricing" on "hot items" where VALUE is Not being considered at all. Would you also pay $200. for a particular jar of peanut butter because its "popular."? No, of course not, there's an endless amount of peanut butter out there to choose from at the proper market price. So its all sheer speculation, that is likely to end up in monetary losses down the road, as its been Over-produced, overly hyped, and overpaid for. The "ODDS" are very low (yes its all gambling) of getting that "rare #'d autographed" card of the Top Superstar pictured on the box. Its much more likely you will spend $110. to $120. for a box of new product and end up with $25. worth of cards, and maybe a $5. autograph or maybe even a $1. relic when you were hoping for a $350. superstar auto #d relic, for example.
Recently this exact thing happened on a $95. Topps box I bought with a "CHANCE" for a Top Superstar Autograph OR other Relic. I got the other common "Relic" of an unknown (to me) injured player worth 0.99 cents if that. No value... the rest of the box was worth maybe $20. in value. possibly.
ALWAYS THINK VALUE and Not Speculation, the "ODDS" are greatly against you "winning" just like at the racetrack or casino. Be sensible, you may be better off Food Shopping for Your Family rather than pay these Crazy Prices for new products, just because they're new.

WORKS WELL WHEN NEW BUT DEVELOPS ISSUES......
1 of 1 found this helpful Short-lived Thermostat before it begins to develop function problems. The touch pad operation can become flukey and when you try and change settings or update them, mine got spotty where some fu ctions work and others do not. Some are important like simply manually overriding the programming to simply choose a new wanted room temperature in the winter to quickly switch the heat back on.
Bought a used replacement and the screen lighting did not work, so they are buggy after a few years.
The price new ought to be 39.95 to 44.95 and no higher given the life span of usage without problems. The old school thermostats are problem-free but now everybody wants everything pre-programmed for convenience, but there's a price to pay for that. Sometimes older designs are better and just because something is new, modern, or has new bells and whistles doesn't make it better and just has more things to go wrong. Less is More.
