a good movie to see
I have seen this movie. I have given this DVD to others. It is a excellent movie. A wonderful movie, It's a tearjerker but touches on important qualities

Where the family lives.
A family in the Virginia built their farm with no slaves. Civil War breaks out. The adult children are asked to enlist. Jimmy Stewart(father) says we don't own slaves not our fight. The story goes on from there.
