Cable casing is a bit ridig and not too flexible, feeling like somekind of plastic (not silicone); not a big issue. Cables are not too thick -and advantage in my opinion- as opposite to other cables.
All the cables (50cm length) have an average resistance around 0.95-1 Ohm (95-100 mili ohm), measured with proper equipment, that is acceptable for charging devices. Maximum speed you can achieve is 48MiB as they are USB 2.0 (480Mbits). Good trade-off for quality and price.
