Old school, but plenty of expansion
I needed a device with plenty of inputs (USB) and this does it with many connections and it is solid and works hard for me. If you can get this for $30, it is money well spent for your laptop

Junk
Can not keep connection to the remote thermometer for more than 2 feet
The screen is not viewable without a back-light, which stays on for 1.2 seconds (when it work)
Is inaccurate based on other thermometers and humidity sensors in the same location
Dont bother IMHO
