Good little solar light bulb
The packaging was styrofoam wrapped in packaging tape which made the 10 bulbs I ordered very light, but it did take about a month to get here which is ok because I wasn't in a rush. The soft plastic end cap is screwed on and when tight the bulb goes on - no on and off switch so be careful when twisting or you might crack the end cap. when trying to recharge the bulb via a light socket it did indeed charge and then when fully charged somehow kicked off the rest of the vanity mirror lights which I turned back on and then in about ten seconds it kicked them all off again - weird, but no damage done to any of the bulbs. I don't know how long the charge will last but I will try it out this evening - even if it were 4 hours or so - it would give enough light before bed time. I think it is a great emergency bulb when the lights go out and the fact that is can charge via solar is even better. I do recommend getting various types of solar bulbs to try out and keep around the house.
