Meh..
I didn't realize how many improvements Boss made with the RC3. I'll be selling my RC2 and purchasing the newer model. It has stereo ins and outs, and mush more phrase storage. The RC2 only has 11 phrases, and mono ins and outs. Excited to buy the newer version!

Alright multi effects pedal, but there are better ones out there.
EHX's First and only Multi effects unit. To be honest, I am confused by this pedal. It only comes with 4 presets (plus the distortion and fuzz,) that sort of don't make sense together. 2 reverbs plus pitch shift and tremolo is kind of a bizarre choice for a multi-effects box. With that being said, the reverbs are actually not half bad. They seem to be based off of the Holy Grail verbs. The tremolo is decent, but doesn't have many options control wise. The pitch shift is the most interesting part of the pedal. I had mine modded which it more usable, but overall I still didn't find it completely necessary to keep. Still love EHX products, but this one doesn't do it for me.

Versatile, unique analog tones. Pricey, but worth every penny.
This is without a doubt the most impressive and versatile delay pedal I've ever played. The two things that set this pedal apart from other delays are the modulation and the subdivision switches. The good: The Modulation switch controls a rich tremolo and chorus, (with a super interesting LFO) that can be added to the regular delay. I will say that the chorus does sound more like a flanger than anything, but I really enjoy some of the weird sounds you can get out of this thing. My favorite part of this pedal are the six switches that add subdivisions of the delayed note. When engaged, you can really get some interesting rhythmic variations. Not your average delay pedal. The reverse function is pretty decent, and the looper is alright. Not the reasons I bought the pedal anyway, so I don't really use them. The bad: Almost nothing, honestly. The only thing I can think of is the delay by itself is a bit quiet, which is easily remedied by the onboard 'drive' control, which boosts your delay signal up to match your volume with the pedal is off. Oh, and the price. It's steep, but I would say for me and my style of playing/the amount of time I use delay, it's totally worth it. Other things: I'm excited to try out an expression pedal with it. (I recommend the Pigtronix expression pedal, because it can control two pedals at the same time.)
