About
I'm Peter Ehrlich. I have had 3 careers over my life. My father started dental school when I was 2 and the only time he was around was on the weekends when he was home working on dental projects in a lab he built in our garage. I spent 2 years watching him and his buddies setting up dentures, making crowns, and inlays. I had no idea that those skills would be the foundation of a sculpture career. My father also planted the seed of automotive restoration. After watching a friends 1967 GT350 get its wheel wells flared with bondo, I decided my Camaro needed that. I did autobody and paint on and off for 6 years until I was hired as a service writer at Otto Zipper ALFA. Then rose to Service Manager of ALFA of Santa Monica where I became tired of the insanity. I went back to college to study TV Broadcast Engineering. At the end of my college I took an art class in Stone Carving which was my last career. I carved 26,000 pounds of stone, Glass, Bronze and Stainless castings.
