Changed my view on childbirth
I was nervous about the pain experienced during labor and the examinations that would happen during labor. My doctor actually offered me the opportunity to have an elective c-section which I decided to do, that is... until my physical therapist suggested this book. I am half way through the book and I have decided that not only will I have a vaginal birth but I won't take any drugs or have an episiotomy. The book was incredibly encouraging and gave me strength to feel as though I CAN DO IT! :-)

One of the best shows I have ever watched - from the wife's perspective
2 of 3 found this helpful I hadn't watched the show while it was airing, but recently started watching reruns on the weekends and got hooked! This has been one of my best entertainment purchases EVER! I decided I wanted this as my Mother's Day present :) My husband and I aren't content watching just one - we end up watching three or four episodes at a time.
We could both due without so much of the "wives storyline" but its worth enduring for the show :)The wives storyline also shows what the FAMILIES give up and sacrifice having their loved ones serving our country.
So many of the episodes make you feel like you are watching a great action movie - and the good news is it can keep going, and going and going :)The acting is incredible and the intensity of it is just awesome! Its one of those shows you watch and the next day you don't stop thinking about.
I have always had a reverence and appreciation for those who have served our country and this is a great reminder that so many are protecting and saving us - without us even knowing. Its also a good reminder that you shouldn't do hard work in order to gain praise and acknowledgement. These men represent those who serve our country without being honored or thanked by us. Its a good thing to remember in raising our kids - its always important to do the right thing, even if its not recognized.
The thing that I cannot get over is that the show was cancelled. I got through the entire series in two week and you have no idea how sad it makes me that its never going beyond what I have watched. Some things don't get resolved in the last season but it ended the only way it could I guess when they cut it short.
BRING IT BACK!!!!
