Nighthawk R8000
After one of my Airport extremes died we’ve been running the house on one node. With certain dead spots I was looking at replacements / mesh network options. Our house is fairly large so I figured I’d probably need. 2 or 3 Velops or Orbi’s... reading some of the reviews on these (and seeing the price!) put me off! Landed on the Netgear nighthawk range and the R8000 gambling it would cover my house without the need for another extender. I was correct. Easy to setup and secure with the nighthawk app and the extra 5G band means I can shit off the kids wifi without effecting the parents 🤗.
