Lemony Snicket deserves a Nobel Prize
Marvelous writer that introduces serious issues for children in a dry witty way. Cannot praise this writer enough for entertainment and education.

Last of the Mohicans
I purchased the book, Last of the Mohicans, as I have an interest in Native American history and lore and have read numerous fiction and non-fiction books on this subject. As this book was written many years ago, I found the writing stilted and the author's conception of the Native American reflected the thinking of that era. It is a book of fiction, but truly of little interest when compared with the good number of excellent books available.
The only thing I liked about the purchase of this book was the 99 cent price. Had I paid a considerable amount for the book, I would have been very disappointed in its portrayal of the American Indian.
