Charlie Palmer's Casual Cooking by Charlie Palmer
The book is wonderful. The food and recipes are family oriented. You have an award winning chef making comfort food, using common products found at your local grocery store. No high dollar specialty shops here. I also like that there is a story behind every recipe. You know where Palmer is going and his thoughts behind why he may add something. The instructions are very well described as well as easy to follow. A wonderful addition to any cookbook collection.
