Please research before you buy
These are plated , and therefore nearly worthless . Please do not waste your money on this item, if you are considering precious metals start with pamp suisse or apmex . To figure the value of a gram of precious metal follow this equation (spot price) x purity % 31.1 so for instance 1200 spot gold x.585 % 31.1 =$22.57 per gram of 14k gold- for pure gold use .999 instead of .585, 18k-.750, 10k-.417 . This will give you a base idea of what an items metal value is , try to buy as close to spot value as you can and you will be fine . DO NOT BUY PLATED OR ANYTHING THAT SAYS: MILLS , CLAD, PLATED , etc etc this is just someone trying to take advantage of your lack of knowledge, similar to fine German silver- it’s a fugazi. I’ve done precious metals and jewelry for 15 years and I’m only 28. I learned the hard way so you don’t have too!
