John Wayne makes Hatari more fun than a barrel of monkey's.
2 of 2 found this helpful I have, literally, thousands of movies. I enjoy all of them. At the top of my Favorites List is Hatari with John Wayne. Seeing The Duke tough it out on the African plains is pure enjoyment at its best. John Wayne is a tough and humorous character in this film and he takes a licking while trying to capture wild animals for Zoos around the world.
The supporting cast adds even more fun to the mix. Each member endearing themselves to the viewers heart as they do their best to help capture the beasts and put Wayne in the hot seat.
Filmscrust capture the past have always entrigued me. I enjoy seeing the world as it was a few decades ago. I often find myself pausing or rewinding the film to get a glimpse of the world as it was. Hatari is no acception. There is so much to see that the film bears many repeated viewings.
Hatari is humorous, endearing and highly entertaining. It is a film that I have always enjoyed and it entertains me every time I view it. It is truly a John Wayne classic.

2 of 2 found this helpful The simple life of existence and trying to meet life head on one challenge after another all while having a great time reaching the comic climax is just charming.
Grew up with this show as a kid and still enjoying it today. Classic characters and engaging comedy. Fantastic fun.
To bad they only put the first three seasons on dvd. Would love to own all 7 seasons.
