Dont be affraid to buy this lens, Despite the minor "clunk" it's great
1 of 2 found this helpful This lens is in my case all the time. Canon has made a great lens that reaches out and yet is light enough to carry around. As with all 300 f/4 L is usm lenses there is a slight clunk in the auto focus but its not that loud. Every one that reviewed the lens has said the same thing so it must be a characteristic of the lens. Pictures are razor sharp and coulnd not be happier.
