Overall - it's EXCELLENT!!!
I was aprehensive about purchasing a manufacture refurbished unit.
This air conditioner does what it's supposed to do - I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
CON: if you cannot position your unit where your accordian vent hose is straight and compressed, it (the vent hose) gets very warm and sorta works against itself. Solution: I set the entire unit on a bench so the vent hose is direct to window and not 'snaked'.
I have a 2nd floor apartment which gets REALLY HOT in the summer. I leave this on 77, low fan in a front room with the least sun 24 hours a day (when it's Hot/Humid) and it runs and works VERY WELL!!!! No, it does not cool all five rooms but the room it's in is chilly while the other rooms are bearable.
