Must-have family collection
Though I don't remember the Pluto cartoon, the others are cartoons that our children watched over and over when they were young. As a mother, I never minded watching Small One for the 10th time because it is such a well-done and entertaining presentation of the Christmas message. The length is just right for little ones' attention spans and the music is definitely catchy. I decided to replace several very worn video cassettes with this DVD collection to keep it on hand for grandchildren and great grandchildren (and me)!

Great human interest story
I had been searching for this TV movie for some time under its original title "1000 Men and a Baby" but had thought it was a Hallmark movie because it had the same uplifting qualities found in many of those movies. The title change is a bit mystifying since it implies more action and suspense--that is not really what this is all about. It is a great true story, not the kind that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but the sort that makes you laugh and cry throughout. The characters are completely believable, the story thoroughly engrossing, the portrayal of a war that many have forgotten very enlightening. Fortunately most of the story is told in flashback since the characters in the present seem slightly contrived in their old age. Overall a great addition to a dvd collection.

This dvd is great if you have to sit at a computer for hours!
My very first experience with Karen's workouts was "BLT on a Ball" which I still use along with a number of other aerobic and strength workouts of hers. I found her to be the best for us aging baby boomers as she explains well, gives options for easier performance, and above all, has workouts that fit a busy schedule--not too long or complicated but nevertheless very effective. So, when I needed something to help with back troubles, I decided to go with one of her yoga dvds. Great choice! Though I am not able to complete all of the poses as she does, I do my best and am making progress. If you like shorter workouts, do the 20 and 30 minute routines separately, if you need longer, do both. These poses definitely are a plus for spinal health--as good as a visit to the chiropractor. My only suggestion would be to hold some poses longer and emphasize breathing more.
