Nearly there
Screws are a little short to fully engage, and the metal used is very soft so don't put too much stress on the sling. Otherwise, if this suits your intentions go for it.

Good for weekend hunters
1 of 1 found this helpful Handy for those with limited space to carry gear to weekend hunts, or who haven't the need for a professional set up. Useful for sighting in and casual shooting, but no way as steady and precise as a proper bench rest.
For walkabout hunters, a Harris type bipod is way more convenient and versatile, and also adjusts higher, the Maxbox is basically a fixed height (albeit 4 different slots, very similar in height). Can't get over any grass when shooting prone.
I am using this to extend the height of my SmartRest II, as the Mini-Maxbox it comes with is not high enough for me to use, this will fix that issue for me.
