Vale of the Vole by Piers Anthony
This is another book in the Xanth series of books by this author. This series of books deals with the magical land of Xanth which involves normal people with magical talents and mythical and fantastical beasts and monsters. I love to read Tolkien and I love to watch a good comedy. Piers' Xanth books combine the magical and, sometimes, bizarre with an essence of humour, or tongue-in-cheek, that works in perfect harmony. The storylines are well thought out and both the serious and comical twists keep you entertained throughout every story. Each can be read independently, but I strongly recommend starting at the beginning and going through them all in order as some storylines mention snippets from previous tales that give a better understabding of the relevance or importance if you have read the earlier story. Visit his web site: www.hipiers.com then click on 'Books' followed by 'Bibliography' then press your 'Page Down' button 3 times and you will be presented with the full list of all 31 books from the Xanth series. Believe me, you will not regret starting this literary adventure.

The Young Ones DVD
4 of 4 found this helpful This is classic British humour from the 80's. As soon as I saw it I had to have it and am more than very pleased to find that they still make me laugh today. It is surprising how many top comedians of a later date started their careers in this sit-com!!! Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Robbie Coltrane, Alexi Sayle to name but a few of the support actors and actresses.
Highly recommended.
