I have traveled many times to Acadia and thought I knew a lot about the Park. It is my favorite place to get away and be by the sea and do some hiking along the coast and into the hills. This book is very informative, providing info on many areas of the park and Mt Dessert Island. Helping you plan you trip, finding many area you would never find on your own. It gives info on interesting places and the little towns around the island. Also places to stay and to eat, giving price guide as well. I highly recommend this book. Oh, and the photography is great.
