Good Entry-Level Sword Cleaning Kit
This is a good entry-level sword-cleaning kit. It contains all of the essentials for basic maintenance, including two replacement hilt pegs, saving you the trouble of whittling them from chopsticks. A good investment for your original or replica katana, wakizashi, or naginata.

Not for the Faint of Heart
Up front, I'll say that THE DRESDEN FILES are not for everyone, though fans of the Jim Butcher novels will doubtless gobble the series up. As one might expect, the episodes are dark -- frequently violent and bloody -- and definitely not for any viewers subject to nightmares after watching such fare. For my preference, I like a series that blends some lighter moments and humor in with the tense/violent incidents -- something like the old Gene Barry BURKE'S LAW series.
So do I like THE DRESDEN FILES? Yes, but not as a steady diet. I can handle one or two episodes at a time, but then I need some comic relief, like UPSTART CROW.

Handsome Stag Pocketknife at a Good Price
Handsome knife with surprisingly well-textured stag scales. It offers assisted opening, though for some reason it opens more readily from the right than from the left; this may just be an idiosyncrasy of my specific knife. Comes with pocket clip for those who fancy such things -- though, again, it's more convenient for righties than southpaws. Blade is sharp, good looking, and has a blade lock to ensure against unwanted closing. Overall, an excellent value.
