Great Collection of Pedro's Work
Very fine, everything looks great. Only played one so far, and it was flawless. Expect the others to be the same.
New York Times Crossword Puzzle Omnibus Volume 2 NY Times
20 January 2021
Only moderately difficult to easy - not for pros. A good price for 200 puzzles.
This particular collection is a bit less challenging than I expected - too easy, even, for a serious CW'er like me. The puzzles I've done have been a good warm-up exercise for harder puzzles.
This is a nice collection of puzzles of medium to easier level - good for someone not too serious about crossword puzzles. Note the editor is not Will Shortz, but Will Weng. Shortz's work is usually more challenging.
The book arrived in good shape - no bent pages or cover - but I thought it looked a bit tired, the pages a bit yellower than brand new. How long had this volume sat on the shelf, I asked myself, before being sent to me? Not bad enough to return but the concern was real.

Hepburn Shines in Matchless Filming of Great American Drama, A Must-See
One hardly needs to mention that these are four of the finest portrayals on film; the characterizations are beyond description in their depth and power, and they (and the fine direction) are responsible for the shattering impact of the film. The fact that this is the the only DVD version avaialble is lamentable, since the visual image is cut down; the copying is a bit grainy; and the sound is sometimes as if from the bottom of a well. Until there is a refurbishment of the original (long overdue on such a masterpiece!) we have to settle for this. This film is now fifty years old, and due for restoration.
Hepburn is at the top of her art here, not to be missed, but the other great stars (Jason Robards, Dean Stockwell, and the superb Ralph Richardson) match her instensity blow for blow. A must-see!
In spite of the DVD's shortcomings, I had to have this in my film collection; serious students of American drama and/or film need this.
