Highly recommended.
Succinctly covers factors influencing exposure and gives practical tasks at the end of each section
to practice this craft. Many subjects covered: SBR (subject brightness range as it relates to the zone system and subject contrast both long & short) - exposure system for color and monochrome -
tonal ranges - light meters, using, calibrating, technique, using gray cards, placing the reading on the zone scale within the dynamic range and the texture range, previsualization, darkroom printing
and postvisualization, increasing contrast.
Great, pithy read bursting with bright bits of information at every turn of the page.
Lucid, enjoyable, digestable in easy pieces. Highly recommended.

Interesting publication - insightful - color & black & white photographs - f/stops and shutter speeds given in text captions accompanying photographs along with applied technique. Quite Helpful !
