Disc didn’t work!

The disc could not be read—kept saying it was dirty. Cleaning it still didn’t help - it started the update, but was cancelled with a disc error. I have had no other problems with any other discs. Can’t help but think the owner knew this was a problem. Very disappointed. Would appreciate a resolution.
