A little pricey but these are hard to find. I m not sure if I needed this or not but I had to separate the AC lines on my XLR and this device was exposed where I had to separate the lines. So I figured I d replace it while I had things apart but locating one was more difficult than I expected. Easy to install once the freon was extracted and the lines were separated.
The part arrived in the original GM OEM packaging and in good condition. Glad I was able to obtain this one.

Fair product with lots of room for improvement.
I needed the tool for my '02 TBird. The fuel pump & transfer pump are located in a hole beneath the body panel. It is impossible to remove the fuel tank without a lift for both the vehicle and the fuel tank so the only access to the pump is through this hole.
I examined several fuel pump lock ring tools and this appeared to be the most suitable design for reaching down into the hole without interference from the body panel. The length of the arms provide sufficient reach to access the lock rings on my TBird. Many other designs would not reach or would interfere with the access hole so I chose this tool.
The slots in the tool arms fit the lock ring perfectly for my TBird. It may or may not work for other makes. It worked acceptably to release and re-tighten the lock rings.
Unfortunately the wing nuts do not provide sufficient security to hold the arms in place. They loosened repeatedly while using the tool. I had to constantly re-tighten them during use.
I believe this can be corrected with hex nuts and lock washers or lock nuts. But I wasn't able to go shopping for hardware while the car wasn't running. Catch22.
Also, the threaded shaft doesn't thread far enough to secure the arms in place. I had to add additional flat washers beneath the wing nuts in order to tighten them down. Even so they kept loosening during use.
Overall a fair product with lots of room for improvement.

Speaker kit received reasonably quickly....
Speaker kit received reasonably quickly. From Cali to Florida in less than a week. Speaker build quality seems OK. The plug & play speaker collars had no installation instructions however. I was able to eventually figure things out but I did have to identify and purchase the correct hardware to fasten the speakers to the collars. The hardware included with the speakers wasn t suitable for mounting the speakers to the collars and the collars didn t include any mounting hardware. I ve used the Metra audio system adapter kits before and they are always complete, include instructions even if they aren t necessary, and are worth the extra expense to remove unnecessary frustration from the install. For some reason these adapter collars weren t as complete as I expected nor as easy to use as I expected. Everything went together OK but it required some thinking and improvising. The purpose of the installation adapters is to remove such nuisances. Other than having to work more than I expected to fit the speakers in the car everything turned out fine. Pleased with the kit so far.
