Great little travel companion for S. Africa!
This was our main go-to charger for our various electronic devices on a recent trip to SA. It worked great and having two built-in USB ports was a real bonus. I was able to charge 4 electronics over night as I also carried a few extra USB-to110v/220v converters which I plugged into the two outlets. This does NOT convert the South African 220v to 110v, but it DOES convert the 220v to USB. Also, many electronics, including my 110v plug/USB adapters are rated for 110-220v. So are many hair dryers, curling irons, etc. Check the individual electronic labels for this information. (You may need a magnifying glass to read it, seriously.)
