A.O. Smith 1hp from Sears

This was the correct rebuild kit for a Model C48K pump that I have, originally purchased at Sears. I took the pump apart before ordering to verify that the parts looked correct. The rebuild kit was correct and the pump is working well. It is a great thing to find this stuff on the 'net. There is a video on you tube of a guy putting this exact kit into a pump. He was unable to use the copper heat shield and mine was the same. Just leave it out.

so shiny!

Who knew you could get these things, stick them to your bike wheel and be able to CHANGE SPEEDS? Simply amazing. This is so crazy addictive that I may have to give up riding my old townie bike for Lent. Seriously shiny. Just look at the picture! Gotta wear shades. I do like the SRAM stuff. Reasonable prices, it fits and it works. Good: I like the black keeper ring. That looks really cool. Bad: nothing really. It is all, like, exactly like my old one.
