Minor mods needed

I was excited to receive this product in excellent condition, but there was no "switch" at the back to change it to 240v. As it was light, I knew is was a switchmode unit, so I hoped it would handle 240v OK. I plugged it in and turned it on and BANG!!. Luckily, I'm an electrical engineer and was able to open it up and repair it. Main thing to do is snip the black wire under the circuit board. The original advertisement said "Technical specifications: Input: 220V / 110V ± 10% 50Hz/60Hz (switch at the back)" but that is not the case. Once the black wire is cut, unit works really well. I load tested and all good. Now I'm happy. :))
