Nice leather but poor design

Nice leather, but clip attachments would damage banjo if attached directly to strap holders on banjo. Also padded portion of strap does not come forward enough to fit on shoulder.to work, making it useless. I attached leather extensions to the fittings until it cleared the banjo body so it didn't damage banjo. This worked but even at shortest setting on top attachment the padding on strap didn't reach my shoulder. Wasn't comfortable at all and I tried several different ways to attach strap but nothing worked for me. I would not recommend this strap and am looking for another strap instead of this one.

Good quality and sound

Nice banjo for a reasonable price. Came from Australia packed well and in perfect condition. Set the bridge, tightened the drum slightly, tuned and set the intonation and I was pickin' and grinin' right away. Decent tone and with resonator it was surprisingly loud. I also installed a piezo transducer pickup and plugged it into one of my tube amps as clean as I could set it and it sounded great. I am gigging with it to add variety to my performances and plan to add it to my recordings in the near future. For an entry level banjo I am quite pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this 6 string banjo for anyone considering buying one.
