  Hi Cathi this is Bob from eBay. You have purchased a couple of items from me having to do with your grandfather in the past. I was doing some research on him and came across a statement in the Spectral Education website where you were quoted as stating that JMF got the idea for Uncle Sam around 1914. I have a drawing that he did as a child, it is not dated but it of a character he entitled U Sam. So he had that idea way back as a preteen. Very interesting. I have more but out space here
