The Four Days' Battle of 1666 - An Excellent Read
The book is one of the few references for this epic naval battle available in the English language. It has been thoroughly researched and it is very well written. "The Four Days' Battle of 1666" was very hard to put down and includes maps approximating the movements of the Dutch and English fleet. The story puts the battle in the context of the larger Second Anglo-Dutch War and summarizes major event both preceding and following the battle. This book is a must read for those interested in the Anglo-Dutch Wars of the 17th Century.

The Ships of Trafalgar: the British, French and Spanish Fleets October 1805
This tome is chocked full of details about each ship that participated in this famous sea battle during the Napoleonic Wars which saw British Admiral Horatio Nelson fall as his fleet battled to victory over the opposing combined French and Spanish fleets. A history and a technical data summary is provided for each vessel complete with available profiles for many of the ships. This book is an important technical reference for naval history enthusiasts.

Fascinating look at Pirate Tactics, Ships and Gear
The Sea Rover's Practice is a welcome addition to anyone interested in pirates and the Golden Age of Piracy. The book looks at the tactics and tools used by the pirates and privateers in pursuing their trade and each chapter walks you through step by step in the process for conducting a raid on land or seizing a ship by sea. Mr. Little's experience as a U.S. Navy Seal provides a unique perspective on the use of stealth and tactics that were applied by the pirates and that still apply in our modern times. The book is easy to read and very entertaining. I highly recommend it!
