Well worth that little extra outlay
Ness. Quality Australian products. I have purchased Ness products over many years. Not cheap but you get quality construction, reliability, many features, easily programmed, excellent manuals and can be enhanced with with add-on equipment. Key fobs for example. This kit is the basis for an excellent security system, home or commercial. J

Worth paying a little more
Microchip quality purchased with the confidence that this is not a potentially unreliable "clone". An ideal programmer/debugger for the electronic project hobbiest.

Better than cheap copies
A satisfactory product. Very little dust bypass. Not fully evaluated for the entrapment of very fine particles but the internal cleaner canister cartridge seems to trap these satisfactorily.
