Excellent value flooring protector
These pads are excellent value. The felt is thick and the adhesive seems to stick very well. They are so good I immediately ordered a second pack.
I have used them to replace the plastic feet on the legs of my Stressless sofas, to better protect my Karndean flooring. They provide good soft protection for the floor and just the right amount of grip so the sofas don't slide about when you sit on them but they can glide when you want to dust underneath.

Discontinued Hawke Frontier HT3685 spotting scope

"The HT3685 Frontier 20-60x85 spotting scope is now a discontinued model, we last sold these in 2009. At the time they cost £349.00 and had BAK 4 prisms with edge to edge lens coatings."
So this particular model is now obsolete and more than six years old.
Hawke UK provided the following additional information:
"The closest model now would be the Nature Trek 20-60x80 model"
Note the current retail price of the brand new equivalent of this spotting scope is £219.99. This price reduction is because the technology used in the HT3685 was new at the time, but it is now less "cutting edge" and manufacturing costs for it have come down.
As optical technology continues to advance and the market for such products grows, one can obtain a much higher quality scope now for the price the HT3685 would once have cost.
Hawke UK recommend their Endurance range, whose lenses have more coatings than those in the Nature Trek, giving more clarity to the user.
The standard grade 20-60x85 model in the Endurance range currently retails at £439.99, with the ED (extra low dispersion) variant costing £649.99. So there are plenty of options available now to suit every budget. Check the manufacturer's current listings before buying.

A perfect "virtual" product
These look great, but they haven't arrived two months after ordering them, so I can't advise how well they perform.
Very disappointing.
