Replacement horn worked on 1989 Johnson 60HP FI
The original horn that was connected to my 1989 60HP FI engine had a constant alarm when the key was turned on even when the motor was cold. The oil injector system seemed okay. Continuity test seemed to indicate faulty horn. I took a chance and threw money at the problem.
I quickly (a few days and a couple states away) received the replacement horn as shown in the description and with multi page instruction packet. After quickly reconnecting the two wires plus the ground to the new horn and applying power and turning the key, the horn emitted the temporary system check sound. The replacement horn was good. I did notice that the horn wasn't as loud and sounded a little different than my original one but it worked. I recommend the part and the seller.
