In short, it was a complete triumph all things considered.

I purchased the Corel Suite particularly for PARADOX, an earlier version of which has continued to host a database created in the mid 1990s on Window98, but which I have wanted to migrate to Windows XP if not Windows7. Everything worked out as planned: the Corel Suite arrived promptly and I installed it both on XP and Windows7, including the latest available version of PARADOX. I then imported the database tables from the old PARADOX without any problem and they displayed perfectly in the new version. I only had to recreate a query routine in the new PARADOX.
