Good power when you need it. Can handle thick dough wthout any problems.

No doubt, these Kitchen Aid mixers are heavy duty and get the job done. This one has a problem that sounds like gears grinding when you go from high speed to slow speed. If you slow it down one notch at a time it does not do it. Also has an oil smell while running. I think this will ware off and I can live with the other problem.
