Definitely a great purchase
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the exact same receiver that DirecTv will sell you, but at a lot less money and it works perfectly. As a customer of Directv for 12 years I needed an upgrade, they wanted to charge me $78 plus s&h for this same receiver. I found it on line for $48 and now I have a fully functional, upgraded DirecTv system. It provides all the interactive functions and much faster response time. It is not a HD receiver but I don't have HD feeds so I'm not missing a thing. It was so easy to activate, I would buy another one if I get another television.

Club Paradise
A chicago fireman retires to open a resort in the islands. While trying to keep the resort running and the guests happy, there is a governmental uprising that he's caught in the middle of. Turns into a very funny set of events featuring Robin Williams and the cast of SCTV, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Joe Flaherty, directed by Harold Ramis. This was made when Robin Williams just wanted to be funny, and the funny scenes catch you by surprise. Funny for the entire family but not too slow for adults. I bought it just because you are not going to find it on cabel or tv anymore.

Quantum of Solace
Daniel Craig reinvented James Bond in Casino Royale in a good way, so naturally yo would expect big things from this sequal, well not exactly. Taking place 20 minutes after the end of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace doesn't miss a beat putting you into the action. Sometimes too much action to follow what's going on and the concept and plot get a little confusing and at some points irrelevalent. Seems like more of a set up movie leading hopefully a better third installment. It's not bad. Sure not everything makes sense, and you can second guess a lot of it, but I've seen worse. I bought it because it was $10 new. Didn't buyy it when it was $16 - $24 at Best Buy.
