Miss Marple Classic Mysteries Collection DVD's
2 of 2 found this helpful These are excellent adaptations of the classic Miss Marple mysteries by Agatha Christie. Joan Hickson is perfectly cast as Miss Marple and the period settings are very well done and capture the feel of the era. The screenplays are faithful adaptations of the books and that's of importance to some Agatha Christie/Miss Marple fans, but these episodes are so well done that they're very entertaining whether you are an Agatha Christie fan or not. I highly recommend this series if you're looking for some good, light entertainment.

This is a children's classic.
This is a delightful, timeless story about a misfit penguin who turns out to be a good bird to have around. Any child who's ever felt they didn't fit in (and what child hasn't?) will cheer for Tacky and his success. It was selected for our state elementary school reading list.

This live performance is great
I enjoyed it very much. It takes me right back to when their music was new and we grew up on it.
