Nice little machine!
I really like these machines - they are small and lightweight, but work fine, and the price is quite reasonable too!

Works great for Ubuntu (Linux)
These units a little big and bulky, however they are automatically recognized by Ubuntu (and other Linux OS's) and are easy to get working there. The USB cradle is nice so that it doesn't stick out the side of your computer where you risk having it hit and broken off. This can also help with the range since you have control over strategically placing the unit that way.
