The Breedlove Atlas Studio J350 12 string

The moment I picked up this guitar I knew it was not a low-entry level cheap guitar. Solid Red Cedar top, rosewood sides and back give a clear definition of every string. Yet the jumbo body projects and converts those searing highs into a rich, smooth, and creamy tone. Breedlove's patented JLD bridge truss provides the best sustain and action of any 12 string I've played. The 1.875" nut width is a bit wider than I like but the action makes it more comfortable to play. There is no better acoustic pickup than L.R. Baggs and Breedlove chose the "Stage Pro" version for this model. Overall the Breedlove Atlas Studio has the quality of any high end guitar for a much lower price. Breedlove made this series affordable by laminating the back and sides and sending production tasks to Korea. However, stepped up the quality by performing crucial setup and quality control in house (Oregon, USA). Keith Greenawalt is a renowned guitarist in the east coast. His resume stretches from the arena stages of rock to theater to the local club scene and as a session guitarist.
