Becomes dull within 30 minutes of use.
Cosmetically, the disc is superb -- not a scratch. It's also well balanced.
After pressing fruits for 15 minutes, I noticed it became harder to push the fruits through. After maybe a total of 30 minutes of juicing, the blade is already dull. I replaced my antique blade with a new one thinking it would bring the juicer back to life, but what I have now is two dull blades.
I have to chop my veggies into tiny pieces for this to work. The hardest one is ginger: anything bigger than an inch will cause the juicer to crawl to a standstill.
