About
Thanks to the many vendors I can still rely on, as I know sourcing is a challenge anymore. You make it all possible not just with pricing but working hard to ensure prompt deliveries. Thank you again.

Wonderful extras but….
…the actual extended scenes really didn’t do it for me. I know this is subjective and some will praise the extra minutes added to this trilogy.
Still, I didn’t find that it lent to the story of each in any way. Unlike the extended version/trilogy for Lord of the Rings, these extra scenes weren’t relevant to strengthening the storyline.
The extras, being the scenes and narration by Peter Jackson that is included is wonderful and well worth the upgrade from the theatrical version.
Enjoyable all the same.

A must for your Myrt
The Hasegawa Saiun/Myrt is an exceptional kit with amazing interior detailing (no PE required in the least) yet lacks with its thick one piece canopy. To truly showcase your detail work this vacuform canopy from Squadron is a must. Delicate, thin and free of distortion. My only gripe is that only one canopy is provided, wherein often times for other aircraft they include a spare. Given the precise cutting necessary to expose all sections and the price I can only give this 3 stars. Worthwhile and necessary? Yes. A bit cheap on the part of Squadron to include only one? Absolutely.

Brett Green returns with modelling the F4U
Those of us in the world of modeling all know Brett Green and his fantastic articles found on hyperscale.com but his return is punctuated to even larger masses with the recent publication of Osprey's Modelling the F4U. In this book Brett not only takes us step by step through several builds but offers the readers insight into the many variations of the FU4 Corsair from prototype through the Korean war. This book is clearly written to offer it's readers many useful tips in weathering, backdating aircraft and the use of after-market accessories as well as scratch built items. For any modeler, from novice to professional, this is a MUST have book for their library. Thanks much Brett for your continued insight and evolution in model building.
